Make the dream a reality!

The reality is that, for many people, doesn’t match their dreams.

You can either make your dream a reality or you can accept to live in a world without meaning. I’m not saying that you can’t find meaning in other things outside of work, but most of your life will be spent working anyways, so why wouldn’t you find a meaning there?

A healthy environment makes all the difference. People are more motivated and inclined to do their job, will enjoy it more, will get involved and might even find their purpose.

“How can I find meaning in my job?”

You can set objectives for yourself, short-term and long term. Keep yourself accountable, work towards achieving them and you will 100% get a sense of satisfaction. You might find the meaning during this time.

Take initiative for projects, be that person who encourages people to work together and contribute to a bigger mission. Most of the projects together with the right people, can be done faster and easier.

Be the leader you wish you had. You don’t have to have a certain rank to be a leader. Be the team’s rock, be that person that makes things happen, when you say you’re going to do something, you will do it, no matter what. People will respect you for that.

Ask how are they doing and really listen. Don’t just ask to seem nice, nobody likes fake people. I strongly believe that a person can make the work environment either good for the other or bad. Be the person that brings a smile on people’s faces every day.

Think about your life’s meaning and how are you going to find/achieve it, really think about it and find an answer. It might be a short-term solution, but it’s way better than nothing.

If you can’t find pleasure/meaning in what you’re doing, don’t waste your time. Figure out that something that you love and go all in. You don’t want to be old and regret the things that you didn’t do. People regret the things that they didn’t do, not the ones that they did.

I believe in you, go out there and be amazing!
